Accounts and Admin Executive

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, analyze and maintain general ledger journal entries
  • Calculate and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Monitor the daily cash position and prepare weekly cash forecasts
  • Ongoing review of financial data to ensure fairness and completeness of the data
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly financials
  • Assist with external audits and ensure timely completion
  • Presents various accounting reports to management and makes suitable observations and recommendations
  • Ability to analyze data and present cost saving recommendations to management
  • Formulate and strengthen internal control functions while simplifying processes
  • Coordinate the development of continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and reduce risk
  • Supports the implementation of new systems and reporting tools within the company
  • Ability to coach, guide, develop and support internal staff
  • Research authoritative literature for proper accounting treatment
  • Prepare various compliance filings (Business license, personal property tax returns, etc)
  • Ad hoc reporting and projects

  • Detail oriented and able to effectively organize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Prior corporate accounting and/or public accounting experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Advanced Excel skills required in order to manage large amounts of data (Pivot tables, v-lookup, SUMIF formulas, etc)
  • Peachtree/Sage/Tally or equivalent accounting software experience preferred
